  1. What is your favorite part about running a Youtube channel? Least?

My favorite part about running a YouTube channel is the satisfaction of completing a Vlog and then receiving the feedback on the Vlog. My least favorite part is the tedious process that is Editing the Vlog. One minute of video is approximately one hour of editing.

  2. Your channel has a unique deadpan humor and some of the most entertaining poker vlogs on Youtube. What’s the secret to creating good comedy?

I am glad that you can grasp the humor in my vlogs. A lot of people do not get it at first and they might view me as boring and monotone, but I have found that many people eventually come around and get the dry humor. I do not try to be funny and I can’t stand most comedians, it is just my true personality.

  3. How is your off-screen personality different than who you are on-screen?

I don’t change my personality for the vlog. I am who I am and I try to show the realist example of what it’s like to be a professional tournament poker player.

  4. You mentioned in one of your recent vlogs that you used to work as a manager. Was there anything in corporate America that helped you become a better poker player?

Yes my last job was a manager of a communications company. Dealing with a workforce of 20+ people helped me with my human reads. Hiring people was my favorite part because it was like a mental and emotional chess match for me to try to break them down and see if they’re lying and gauge whether they will be a valuable asset to the company.

5. Favorite hand?

My favorite hand is Pocket aces. I love pocket aces!

6. Favorite suit?

Spades.

Boski has the same favorite suit as another poker vlogger, Q. Check out my interview with her here in the article “From Myspace to the Main Event: Interview with Female Poker Vlogger Q.

7. What are your goals outside of poker?

Jeff

My bigger goal is getting involved in something that I believe in that I love that is lucrative and will help people. I am currently researching what it takes to be a motivational speaker for people trying to quit smoking cigarettes.

8. I love that you use your platform to promote charity and goodwill for Boxers. Where can people find out more?

Boxers are great dogs and many are killed every day due to overpopulation and excessive breeding by Amish puppy mills. Check out adoptaboxerrescue.com. Or view the short video I made about the Amish puppy mills.
