Shoppers are being warned that supermarket slots are running low at some stores this Christmas.

Asda Recurring Slot Coronavirus

Tesco, Asda and M&S have already warned about limited slots for Christmas supermarket deliveries, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Tesco is experiencing high demand, while Asda has warned shoppers: 'Once slots are gone, they’re gone.'

Sainsbury's' is urging people not to leave it too late - and M&S says its slots are already running out.

It is clear, then, that shoppers would be foolish to leave it too late as the Christmas dash for groceries and gifts intensifies.

Naomi Schraer of MoneySavingExpert said: 'With ongoing coronavirus restrictions, it's likely supermarket delivery slots will be in even greater demand this year with some households keen to avoid the shops, so it's best to get in while you can.'

The Be Clever With Your Cash website also warns that even if you do get a slot, some must-need items might run out because of the Christmas rush.

So for those who want to plan things now, the MEN has taken a look at the available information.

Tesco

Tesco's website says: 'We're experiencing high demand for slots around Christmas'.
